Sunday

The weather this day was horrendous! We went for brunch with my parents, sister and BIL so I just wanted to be comfy but still putting in a bit of effort. And I am still loving this cardigan backwards, it might be the only way I wear it. My tip is to remove the label to stop it itching your neck.
Monday

I loved this outfit. I have had this leather jacket for at least 8 years and I really haven’t worn it much. I have gone through periods when it was far too small, but now it fits again I am so excited to wear it. The fact that it isn’t black stops it from looking too harsh, the pop of green in the shoe and the graphic tee keeps it fun and perfect for lunch with my bestie and the school run.
Tuesday

These trousers are so fabulous, they are a really lux jacquard fabric and I was looking forward to wearing them to the office as I had forgotten about them. The outfit seemed great in my head but not so much in real life. It was all too slim and I just felt un-comfy all day.
Wednesday
Cosy, comfy work from home outfit. This vintage, but new with tags, St Michael M&S 100% cotton men’s jumper is one of my favourite finds ever from a charity shop and serves as a reminder to not skip over the men’s clothes when shopping second hand. Oh and as always please remember the crocs are slippers and not necessarily a fashion statement.
Thursday
In the office rocking all black and a statement shoe. I felt great in this outfit, the skirt is really light weight and flowy and the soft t-shirt and cardigan make it really comfortable but visually it was sleek. These loafers are now one of the favourite items I own, the are perfect and they add such a special something to every outfit I wear them with.
Friday

Nothing particularly special about this outfit, everything is old, but I think it all came together to look put together for WFH, school run and dinner at my sisters house (which was FABULOUS - she made me this oven roasted gnocchi and veg dish with pan fried sea bass topped with crumbled feta!) I like the way the converse kept things casual and youthful and the silver hoops added some interest.
Saturday

Saturdays activity was something I have been looking forward to for months - DISNEY ON ICE. Oh my goodness it was such a great production - all the magic you expect from Disney and my son loved it - except the Frozen section as he just hates anything Frozen! I had planned to wear my boots but the weather ended up being not too bad so went for Sambas. This top could probably be considered Christmassy as its textured and green like a Christmas tree with a little sparkle flecked through it but it kept my outfit fun even though I don’t own any Disney clothing items (unlike most people at the show!)
I am SO ready to get all my spring clothes out and I am over all of my winter clothes. My favourite time of year is when I can wear either linen trousers or jeans, Birkenstocks and a jumper. Bring on the slightly warmer (and dryer) days.
What are you most looking forward to wearing as the season changes into spring (or Autumn depending where you are)
I’m impressed that you keep getting dressed every. Especially loved Monday and Friday’s outfits. That jacket is so great on you!
I cannot wait to ditch the big coat that’s for sure ! Loved Monday’s outfit! 🔥
